A dhow water taxi on the Pomene lagoon, Mozambique. This dhow is being used to ferry people working in the fishing camp, home to their village across the lagoon.

  1. Phew, the trees in the second photo gives the impression of a flooded area. Do you know if the lagoon runs dry at times?

    I like the composition of that shot, by the way. Was it taken from shore or another dhow?
